The Language of Comforting
What to Say and What Not to Say to People in Distress

(1-hour Presentation)

At work and at home, when people need our warmth and care, we try to offer comforting words, but feel too often we aren’t helpful enough. Are there ever the right words? In this presentation, we will be provided with proven comforting phrases and gestures that welcome, support and reassure people in distress.
 
This presentation is an ideal fit for in-service training, a support group topic, a conference presentation, a luncheon talk, or other caregiver support event.
